Amy Binns’ research is in two main areas: managing problems on social media; and social history, particularly concerning non-conformism and interwar feminism. She has collaborated with colleagues in computing, journalism, history and art.
Her latest research with colleague Sophie Arnold concerns the lack of reporting of coroners’ courts in the press. This is awaiting publication.
She has presented her work at many conferences, including the Social Research Association, the Political Studies Association, the National Conference on Hate Crime in the Social Media Era, and many others. She is available for bookings.
